First timers scuba diving
We would love for you to have your first experience with the underwater world with us...
Have you ever wondered what it feels like to breathe underwater?
If you want to try diving, but don't but don't know if you're ready to jump into a certification course, our “Basic Diver” First timers scuba diving is for you.
Although it is not a scuba certification course, the Basic Diver, First timers scuba diving, is a quick and easy introduction to exploring the underwater world.
For us, a first timers scuba diving is not a throwaway activity. The christening should be, and is, an experience in itself. The first time that we all have contact with the diving equipment, that we are completely surrounded by water ... and we continue to breathe!, That we see the fish in our same dimension ... everything becomes a unique experience that will mark us the rest of our lives ...
The First timers scuba diving consists of three parts:
- A talk about the activity
In the same pool, our SSI Professional will give you an explanation about the activity, previously we will have sent you a digital SSI program that you can read before coming to do the activity.
The "briefing" or talk will include the diving equipment that you will use, the way to communicate underwater, the exercises that you will do during the practice and will also clarify your doubts.
- Immersion in the pool
You will start diving in an easy and simple environment like a swimming pool. You will do some basic exercises such as inflating and deflating your diving vest, emptying a partially flooded mask with water, removing and putting the regulator under water.
This practice is essential for your own safety and peace of mind once you are at sea.
- Immersion in the sea from our diving boat
For this you have come ... to dive in the sea. But now you are much better prepared: we have explained many things to you, you have used the material and you have already breathed and moved underwater.
You will dive, always with an SSI Instructor, up to a maximum depth of 12 meters in the coastal area of the Montgrí Natural Park, which can only be accessed by boat.
